This is a 3 map set of The Town of Chesterfield, NJ from 1876.  Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the Town of Chesterfield which includes the villages of Crosswicks & Sykesville. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, only portions of the maps are shown. The first map is that of the business or downtown section of Sykesville and is an inset map along with the towns of Indian Mills, Atsion and Edgewater. The second map shows the entire township of Chesterfield which includes the towns or villages of Crosswicks, Chesterfield and Sykesville. The third map shows the inset map of Crosswicks and also has the villages of Cookstown and Hainesport.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are White, Irwin, Davis, Carr, Donley, Ridgway, Platt, Stodard, Stout and so many more that it's impossible to list! The names shown are indeed very small yet can be read. Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
